We held our first hair loss workshop last week at The School of Makeup in Stockport, South Manchester and it was a roaring success! The workshops are designed to educate, coach and support as well as making connections and hopefully life-long friends! This was our very first workshop, so it's always a learning curve and we hope to evolve as we go along.
The next workshop will be held on 13 August from 6pm - 9pm. The workshop is split into two sections; the first concentrating on makeup (eyelashes and brows), which will be taken by the amazingly talented and beautiful Elaine Myers-Jones. With over 20 years' experience as a makeup artist in TV, film and fashion she has so much invaluable knowledge to pass on to you. Elaine herself also has alopecia totalis.
The second part of the workshop will concentrate on all things wigs and will be taken by me. Everything you have ever wanted to know and should know will be discussed and hopefully a little fun will be had trying on different pieces....why not see yourself as a blonde or a red head?
The workshops are totally free and open to all women with any type of hair loss or thinning. Each workshop lasts around 3 hrs. To join us on our next workshop on 13 August from 6pm - 9pm, all you have to do is email vanessa@glamorousbutterfly.co.uk to book your place!
