Children and young adults in the UK up to the age of 24 with medical hair losses are entitled to a free wig. Anyone receiving treatments for cancers is also able to receive wigs throughout the duration of their treatments. Anyone with other medical hair loss conditions is entitled to one wig only.
Wigs are created using virgin European hair on a high quality, hand tied cap with a silicone and lace front. Several sizes from 46cm to 58cm circumference wigs are available, in three hair lengths up to 22 inches from the crown and in several colours, including a super light blonde. As a salon, we will fit, cut and style for free and an additional bespoke custom colour service can be provided by us and the costs covered by the Trust upon request.
