Due to COVID-19 and the increasing concerns over the variants, particularly the Indian/Delta variant, I've made the hard decision to offer face-to-face consultations to chemotherapy and immunotherapy patients only.
This will be constantly assessed based on the most current COVID data. I do hope you are kind and understanding of this decision and please know you are all just as important to me but when it comes to saving lives, this is the right thing to do I feel.
I want to try and keep our most vulnerable and chronically ill patients as safe as I possibly can and, of course, along with my community, my family and myself. A lot of chemotherapy patients, but particularly immunotherapy patients, cannot receive a COVID vaccine or, indeed, can only have one, the vaccine interferes and affects their treatments.
I am offering a full and free video consultation to all other patients and clients along with a shipping service, door-step drop or pick-up if local. Nothing is missed in the video consultations, I go over everything I would in a face to face consultation.
